One of my own favourite places to
go for a walk and an excellent light meal is Glengorm
Coffee Shop and Art Gallery.
Glengorm Castle is about 4 miles from the centre
of Tobermory, along the Glengorm road. The drive is scenic
and a wonderful place to view a summer sunset.

Shop and Gallery are open all summer and close at Christmas
The Coffee Shop has a wide range of beverages
and 'home made' food, some of it produced from the castle's own
market garden. When the weather is good, there are
facilities to sit outside. This is quite nice if you have
your outside walking clothes and boots on. The castle has
many
fine walks surrounding it, or, for the less ambitious, a
short walk to the gardens and nursery. The layout of the
