Your evening cruise might only be with 11 other guests. Travelling back from the ceilidh on across the Sound of Iona is not on a CalMac ferry but on a beautiful wooden vessel built to take passengers but designed like a fishing boat. If you are very lucky you might be accompanied on your journey home by porpoises!

If you come to view production of the world renowned Isle of Mull cheeses, you can expect to visit the animals and get muck on your shoes.

Take a walk on the wild side with one of our community rangers leading small groups of visitors and you may come face to face with Britains rarest raptor the White Tailed Sea Eagle.

We also include local schools - Tobermory High School senior pupils enter  the Food Festival "Junior Chef of the Year" competition and this year we are introducing a new competition a "Healthy Eating Challenge" for S2 pupils to work in pairs with a local chef to plan and cook a balanced meal for £5 using local ingredients.  The competitors and winners have a presentation at the Tobermory Producer market

This really is a Food Festival like no other in the UK’s Wildlife Capital – Mull & Iona
