Events around Tobermory

Tobermory Horticultural Society Show.

This event is held annually on the last Saturday in August each year.  The society was founded in 1890, and has run annually ever since.  The show is competitive, but is not taken as seriously as similar shows in the North east of England (except by the odd resident Tyne Siders).

Due to the inclement weather this summer exhibits in the Flower section were disappointing though entries for the Baking and Produce and also the Vegetable Sections were excellent
