1. Tourist Office Challenge. Seek out the Big map and tell us what should be shown on the map but isn't.
2. *Railway Challenge. (Available form Easter until October) Go to Mull's only railway starting at Craignure and receive your challenge question paper to do whilst on the train journey to Torosay Castle, where there is also a Challenge. Family tickets for discount are available.
3. *Torosay Castle and Gardens Challenge. At beautiful Torosay Castle and gardens you have a choice of two challenges which you must collect at the counter in the shop. Tel: (+44) (0)1680 812421 Torosay Castle and Gardens is open daily from 28th March to 31st October 10.30am - 5.30pm.
4. *Wings over Mull Challenge. Visit the Wings over Mull Birds of Prey and Conservation Centre, situated just above Torosay – look out for the sign. Ask for your Challenge at the entrance and find out more about the wisest bird of them all, who hunts in the Mull darkness. Telephone 01680 812594 for more details.
5. *Duart Castle Challenge. Two miles south of Craignure you will see the sign for the mysterious castle of Duart. Turn left at the sign and follow the road for a further two miles to the Castle. Begin by the steps in the courtyard and count every step you climb to the top of the keep. Count the steps on your way down until you are back in the Courtyard. Check your total at the hut on the way out.
6. Loch Buie Challenge. At Loch Buie you must find Queen Victoria!! Drive to the end of Lochbuie road (where the monument is) and walk along the shoreline. Get you Challenge document signed at Loch Buie Post Office.
7. Carsaig Challenge. Collect your clue from Pennyghael Stores. The store sells a wide range of produce. Pick up your challenge and go to Carsaig, which has Golden Eagles, Seals, Otters, wild Goats and of course your challenge!!
8. Fionnphort Challenge Call in at the 'Ferry shop' at Fionnphort to receive your Fionnphort quiz. Return to the shop for the answers. The 'Ferry Shop' is situated about 150 metres back from the ferry. Not the shop at the ferry.
9.Wildlife Challenge 2.This exciting challenge will lead you around Mull's mountainous terrain in search of a wide range of wildlife. Collect your free "Spot Mull's Wildlife" leaflet from the Craignure Tourist Office. The leaflet contains illustrations and hints to help you complete your challenge"
10. *Tobermory Challenge 1 The Mull Museum is a small independent Museum run entirely by volunteers. There are documents and displays there relating to the Island. Collect and then complete the Quiz Sheet which is available from the person at the admissions desk. They will also sign your document when the challenge is completed.
11. Tobermory Challenge 2 Go to the old church on Tobermory main street, which is now called 'The Gallery". There, you will be given a Tobermory quiz, taking you to many parts of the village, including An Tobar, our Arts Centre.
12. Tobermory Challenge 3 Go to Macgochans pub at Ledaig (main car park). You will find five knots and what they were used for? The bar staff will sign your challenge document. This challenge is only available between 11am and 8pm
13. Your Forest Enterprise Challenge,
Find the Monkey Puzzle Tree in aros Park, Tobermory. In
order to complete this challeng you need to collect a special map from the
leaflet holder near the the Notice Board in the car park, or from the Tobermory
Tourist Office. Follow the map and when you find the tree, you willsee a
post with a special stapler. Staple your Quest to prove that you
found the tree.
14 *Wildlife Challenge. Mull is one of the best places in the world to see Eagles. You must spot and know the difference between the Golden Eagle and the White Tailed Sea Eagle. 15. *Old Byre Challenge. Go to the main door of the Byre (with fifteen panes of glass) to receive your challenge.
20. *Isle of Ulva Challenge. When Samuel Johnson visited the Isle of Ulva In 1773 he lost his favourite walking stick whilst out walking. Tell the Ferryman you are on The 'Quest' and he will direct you to the tearoom to pick up your challenge information to find the stick.
21. Calgary Art In Nature Challenge. Go into Calgary Little Art Gallery at the Hotel and pick up a Challenge document.
Macquarrie Challenge. Visit the Mausoleum of General Macquarie who was one of the first Governor Generals of Australia, find 4 names and 4 dates relating to the people buried in the mausoleum. Then go to Gruline Home Farm which is near the site, for your Quest Document to be signed.

*Sealife Surveys Challenge. On this challenge you will be welcomed 'aboard' but you must be keen to see creatures of the deep! The captain of this vessel is the keeper of the Mermaids Scroll and within in it will be details of your tasks. Go to Sealife Surveys, Ledaig car park, Tobermory.
