- £ 30 00 daily - £199 for
seven full days
Prices include insurance and we require an
advanced deposit of £30 - non-refundable in the event of
cancellation.(Deductible from the hire on full payment).
There is no VAT and no mileage charge. Fuel tanks are full
when hired and clients are asked to refill them upon return
half an hour before the ferry departure to enable us to
inspect the vehicles. Any damage to vehicles MUST be reported
immediately by telephone.
INSURANCE
REQUIREMENTS
Clients must be between 23 - 69 years of age -
if over 70, hirers can, and frequently do, arrange own
insurance for a long hire. A full
licence must have been held for at least a year.
A current driving licence must be presented. We
cannot hire a vehicle to anyone who has been disqualified from
driving within the last five years- see sections a - d on the
MSD acceptance form and terms and conditions 1 - 9. (Cars must
not be taken off Mull).

PAYMENT
- cheques, travellers' cheques - Sterling - Euros - or cash
(Sterling). There is a Clydesdale Bank at Tobermory - 20 miles
– and a cash machine in Salen Post office -10 miles and
various banks in Oban - 40 minutes crossing time by Cal/Mac
ferry.
CAUTION
- most of the roads
on Mull are single-track. Please use the passing-places and
always pull in to the left-hand side of the road to allow
on-coming traffic to pass and overtaking vehicles to get
through.
