Clearly, one of the most important parts of the wedding
event is the photography. Normally, there is only one chance to get
this absolutely correct and so professional, local help, is advised.
A local photographer is vital, as most people getting married in Tobermory,
or anywhere else on Mull and Iona, have
no real local knowledge of where and when to capture those vital
moments. Marriages can now take place in remote settings on hills,
by lochs, in stone circles, for example. Scotland can catch you out if you
have little local knowledge.
We recommend John Wilshire L.R.P.S. who
lives and works here in Tobermory. John has been our local
photographer for over 25 years and he understands the photographic needs
of special occasions on the island. He is willing and able to
compose photographs at any location on the island. Remote locations
and settings are a speciality.
Rates
are obviously dependant on the circumstances and volume of work, however,
