Children’s Activities

If you are looking for activities for children Aros Park  is walking distance from the town and has lots of great rustic playground equipment and there’s also a lovely fishing lochan stocked with rainbow trout. Licences for the kids are inexpensive and can be purchased in Brown’s Ironmongers in Tobermory.

There is a play park, at the top of the hill up past the Western Isles Hotel and the island Quest can be collected from Craignure Tourist Information Centre.

The Quest is a children’s Treasure Hunt /adventure project created by by the people of Mull.  It consists of a series of “Treasure Hunt” styled challenges devised by many of the tourism operators on the Isles of Mull, Ulva and Iona.  To get more information, go to the Tourist office in Craignure.

Each challenge has been devised by the individual operator, and consequently the style, form and objective of the mission varies.

The White-tailed Eagle Hide welcomes children as do Mull Magic Wildlife Walks who can provide a great family day out.

Tobermory has it’s own volcanic sand beach but if you have your own transport there are many beautiful and secluded beaches just a short drive from Tobermory.
