Things to do in Tobermory

Things to do in Tobermory are well catered for,  and the town is the main habitation on the Isle of Mull.  Tobermory has also the majority of the main facilities, although some of the activities and attractions are spread about the island.

There are some beautiful walks from Tobermory, a stroll out to the Lighthouse at Rubha nan Gall or a more strenuous walk into Aros Park, once the home of the Allan family. There's also a walk to the Standing Stones at Baliscate, and the site of a former chapel whose discovery featured on the television programme Time Team.

Boat trips leave the Tobermory pontoons on a daily basis with all day trips at sea to search for cetaceans such as Minke whales and Basking sharks, along with trips to Staffa and the Treshnish Isles to see Puffins and other seabirds.

Mull Magic offers a door-to-door service from Tobermory and will take you out on walking tours to see some of the islands iconic wildlife. Otter watching days are their speciality. The other tour operators will meet you at the carpark in Tobermory and take you around the island in a minibus, pointing out places of interest and the wildlife along the way. Most of the land based tour operators include lunch in the cost of the day out, but check on the links below.
